Phillips Road to Recovery

My name is Kayla, I have created this on behalf of my parents and my siblings . On May 22 our families lives shifted in the scariest way possible. Our moms greatest fear came true. My dad suffered from a Blister Aneurysm, causing him to seize and lose consciousness early Sunday afternoon. He was in the comfort of his own home, but the events following have been traumatizing to say the least. He was taken to San Joaquin hospital only to be transferred to Memorial Hospital where he has undergone test’s and procedures by some of the best Neuro Surgeons in Bakersfield. They have located the aneurysm and have a pretty steady plan to move forward, but the road is long and he is not yet out of the woods. My dad is our rock, my families provider, and everything in between. If you know my dad, you love him. I could go on and on about how amazing my dad is but right now I am asking for all the support we can get to help us in the grueling times ahead. There will be hospital bills, his and my moms personal financials, as well as rehab once he makes it through this. We are so thankful to our families who have been taking care of us, and we are most thankful to God. We were lucky he was in his own home around his own family when this happened, it definitely could have been worse. But God has a plan for our dad. Our dads story does not end here.
