Hi.. I am Sandra, Destiny's mother. She is 17 and has had a very bad year. She lost her grandmother who she was very close to, she was constantly bullied by people she thought were friends and because of all of this, she has attempted suicide twice in the last month. She is also battling mental illness. At the moment she is in a treatment facility trying to get help so she can be happy again. However, where shes at is only a short term facility. She is scheduled to be sent to a long-term residential treatment center but we are having an issue with her insurance coverage. They will cover her stay but I must pay a copay. So that is the reason I'm asking for help. Ive never done anything like this, and I was nervous to but its so important for Destiny to be able to get the help she needs. Last month she stayed for 10 days and was sent home due to the same problems with our insurance. Within a week, she attempted suicide again. So please help me this time get her into a long-term treatment facility so she can receive the help she needs. I cannot lose my daughter. She is my life. She just needs help and she needs it now.
