Our Dear Friend Trudy‘s Hospice Care And Memorial
This is a hard one to write. Our dear friend Trudy, who’s taught so many to love as a verb, to show up when others are in need, to make beautiful art, and do The Work getting others direct aid in emergent situations without hesitation, needs our help now. More than ever. Trudy had been having a difficult time with chronic health issues as many of you know. Recently, the pain became so intense, even for someone who lives with it every day. She was quickly diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer.
She will have palliative care to make her as comfortable as possible during this extremely difficult time. She’ll need a lot of love and support. The treatments to ease her suffering will be very expensive, and she wants to make sure her adult children have what they need to have a memorial befitting this Goddess who’s blessed all of our lives. This amazing person, a proud, devoted, loving Mother and Grandma, wants that peace of mind, and we can give her that. That bright smile has cheered up so many people, touched so many, we can only hope to try to return the kindness she’s shown the world during her purpose filled life of service.
More information will be updated here as soon as affairs are in order. This has progressed very rapidly, and was quite a shock, so please do check back soon and often.

There’s no telling how much this all may total, but we’ll have a better idea shortly. In the interim, STAT mutual aid is most welcome. This fund will go toward her needs while she’s with us, and again, let’s show her that her kids are taken care of, it really is most urgent.
