Hi, my name's Brenda and I'm facing homelessness within the next 2 months. I'm desperately trying to avoid that because I know how much harder it'll be to come back from that.

Yes, I'm on income assistance but I get $940 a month. Less than a thousand a month is extremely difficult to do.

* I've sold everything i had that was of any value.

*I already asked friends a year ago for help (no family to ask) and only 1 person donated back then.

*I've already lowered my expenses the most that I can.

*I basically just have rent, phone, food, and a credit card I'm being harassed over. I'm making the smallest payment I can on that.

*I owe my roommate several months rent.Hes been incredibly generous and im grateful.

*I'm already losing my car.

I am currently not able to work due to health problems. I have ADHD, anxiety, depression. I have chronic lower back pain, an injured knee, stomach issues which means dietary restrictions.

I am able to work part-time if it's something I can physically and mentally do. And my doctor signs off on it.

But most jobs require you to be able to either lift up to 50lbs or be on your feet all day. I can't do either. My resume is mostly physical experience.

I've been applying for jobs for 18 months and have only had 2 call backs.

I've placed my own ads for petsitting, house-sitting, painting small murals, etc.

I hate that this is something I have to resort to but I'm at my wits end. I don't know what else to do but to keep applying and just work on my health in the meantime. But I have bills racking up and I'm about to lose the roof over my head if I can't pay some of the rent I owe.

I'm just looking for enough to get me through the next 2-3 months and take some of the stress off of me.

Even $10 would help. It all adds up.
