I have  been no stranger to cancer. My first melanoma was in 1999. I have had 3 more removed. Thyroid and right kidney were removed in 2006 just after the birth of my daughter. This most recent cancer was found by way of a heart tumor in October of last year. The tumor was removed in November after I collapsed and was life flighted to Houston.  I came in for a hospital follow up February 19 th to MDAnderon and was admitted immediately for chemotherapy. I will be here for a total of 6 days inpatient while I receive the first round of chemotherapy. When I am released I will have to stay within 30 minutes of the hospital. I am on a waiting list for housing assistance but won't know until March 2 if I qualify. The money that is donated will help with lodging while I am  in Houston and with the medical bills coming in.
