Help Shane with his stroke recovery

Hello everyone my name is Rachel, as some of you might already know my beloved ex boyfriend Shane Baranec had a major stroke 3 weeks ago. 21 days ago today on November 4th Shane's life turned for the worst.

At midnight he was taking a shower and not feeling well, feeling more dizzy than usual, he fell and hit his head on the wall, his ears started to ring loudly and he was unable to see. Before it got any worse he was able to dial 9-1-1 climbed into bed and then hit call when he couldn't fathom his reality anymore.

That night he had a major stroke caused from a blood clot in his hand that was too big to pass through his brain. This caused him to immediately lose his eye sight, ability to walk and affected his speech.

He had 5 clots altogether some in his upper chest, a major one in his neck and one in the back of his head in his brain stem. He is still receiving medication to dissolve those bigger ones in those particular places but if unsuccessful he could take a turn for the worst...</3

He has lost his job due to this medical issue, a hard working man's man that loved wrenching and fixing things his life as he knows it has been drastically altered, as well as having the freedom to drive or ride his motorcycle.

He is a vibrant 49 years old gym rat, riding partner, adventure buddy, waterfall chasing, hot spring hoppin, hard working man. A fun loving happy-go-lucky person.

We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of his expenses of rent, medical bills and medication, physio, transportation to get to his appointments over the next 6 months; so that over the next few months he can focus on making the best recovery possible for him without the added stress.

Eventually we will be moving him into a smaller, more comfortable, suitable place for him. With him being on the road to recovery and on disability now, it is simply not enough.
