We’re excited to bring you a Mock MMI practice event - but this isn’t just about preparing for interviews. We’re fundraising for the Hanoon Foundation, a UK-registered charity dedicated to supporting medical education, clinical training, and humanitarian aid for Palestinian communities, including students and healthcare workers whose lives and careers have been disrupted by conflict.

Why Your Support Matters
The Hanoon Foundation works to ensure access to quality healthcare and medical training for students and doctors affected by war and displacement. They provide hardship grants, educational resources, scholarships, language exam support, and emergency financial aid so medical students can continue studying, train abroad, and become the future backbone of healthcare in Palestine.

Across conflict zones, medical personnel and students are facing devastation - hospitals and universities have been damaged or destroyed, and many healthcare workers have been killed or displaced. Even when not directly targeted, doctors and med students live and work under severe stress, with limited resources, interrupted studies, and threats to safety. Supporting organisations like Hanoon helps protect and rebuild the next generation of doctors who desperately need opportunities to learn and serve.

Why This Is Important for Us in the UK
We recognise that applying to medical school in the UK - accessing high-quality resources like practice events, and professional networks - is a privilege many around the world don’t have. While we work hard towards our futures, millions of prospective and current medical students in conflict zones struggle just to keep studying or complete basic clinical training.

This event has intentionally been kept accessible and affordable: we are minimising barriers so more people here can take part and contribute. By donating before booking a timeslot, you help widen education access globally and support a cause that links healthcare, human dignity, and opportunity.

How You Can Help
The event ticket is a £25 donation. If that may be a barrier for anyone, please reach out to us and we may be able to make an exception. Any amount, large or small, goes directly toward supporting Hanoon’s programmes. Once you’ve donated, simply select your preferred time slot via our Google form.
Your contribution doesn’t just help one event: it helps future doctors finish their training, care for their communities, and rebuild health systems in places affected by conflict.
Thank you for standing with future healthcare professionals around the world.
