Send students to higher altitudes!

I've been very lucky to have been introduced to high school teaching through a very effective, second-chance charter school in NYC, called John V. Lindsay Wildcat Academy, which services neighborhoods in The Bronx. I am finishing this school year as the Fitness & Nutrition Coordinator (aka Gym Teacher).
These students are normal teenagers with potential, looking to start their lives, but likely with some challenging circumstances at home and in their neighborhoods. They all left other high schools for varying reasons but are now supported by an awesome administration and staff in two locations, The Bronx and Manhattan.

As my wife and I continue on our chosen career path, we are leaving NYC and moving to Illinois in the heartland of America, to be closer to our families. But before we go, and after I have made them do plenty of push-ups and squats, I would love to show a few deserving students the thrill of free fall as their Tandem Instructor.
I'm envisioning drawing the names of four students for whom we can take care of the cost. The price per tandem skydive at Skydive Sussex, in New Jersey, is $370, with the video package (gotta have that!), plus a little bit more for transportation from NYC and campaign processing fees.
~Think we can raise $2150? I do.
Wouldn't you like to help me throw a student out of an airplane?! And help me leave an indelible experience from which they can continue to grow?
These students will never forget it and be better for it. Blue Skies! -David

[Jump dates will be 24-26 June 2016. After securing the funds, I will draw names of up to 4 students who earned a chance (and who want it) to jump with me. ~Go on...do it...it'll make you feel good!
If more money is donated than needed for this project, I will give the excess to the school itself.]
