Mystereo’s Health Journey

Hey y'all. Mystereo here. For those that don’t know me, I am a local performer and cash handler for the most popular Drag Brunch presented here in Minneapolis. I am the full-time tip collector for performers while also providing assistance and basically the main stagehand. On top of that, I can be found performing around the cities and recently started to move into the male pageant world. I also have my own monthly king show called Flavor at the Gay90s. I have been working very hard these last few years to build my brand and make myself a staple of our performance community.

I recently hurt my knee during an event we had, and what I originally thought was just a swollen knee turned out to be a serious bacterial infection. I made the mistake of not going to the hospital right away, and I ended up very sick. My immune system was practically nonexistent, and my kidneys had started to shut down. I had to receive 2 blood transfusions, and the infection in my knee had to be surgically removed. (I have pictures for those with a morbid curiosity)

I'm starting this GoFundMe because I would not be able to work or perform for at least a couple of months even though I have delusions that I will be back at it soon. I need groceries, rent, and to get ahead of medical bills.
