You found us! And lucky you, because by simply reading about our project, you’re now an official member of SoulTribe.
So what's SoulTribe? SoulTribe is a brand that encompasses wearable art, imagery and goods that highlight life, love, spirit, and nature — sprouted by two friends, Malia Rae and Liz Meitus.
But it’s much more. SoulTribe is the expression of the community of beings that tune into your vibration, support your dreams, and always validate the growth road you’re on. We created SoulTribe to honor each other’s creativity, feed the world a few spoonfuls of gratitude, spread happiness, and dole out smiles. Life is good and we’re here to help reflect and remind us all of why we’re here.
There's a lot of love to spread, so here's the nitty gritty: SoulTribe has been accepted into an international art competition, ArtPrize. As the most-attended public art event on the planet, with 400,000 attendees descending upon Grand Rapids, Michigan from September 21 through October 9, viewing art in more than 160 venues, and delivering more than $500K in prizes, this is a huge honor to be accepted. (More on ArtPrize here: www.artprize.org)
Specifically, the SoulTribe art submission is an installation titled, "#LoveFindsUs" — consisting of a 169-piece smile-inducing grid of our photographed hearts found in nature or throughout our everyday lives and chores, printed on metal and floating on a (self-built) freestanding wall. There's a small interactive piece to allow viewers to contribute memories of where love has found them. Our art is for everyone: It promotes a love revival; a self-guided refresher course in connectivity; and we infect people with positivity. The installation will be displayed at The Waters Building (aka Homewood Suites by Hilton) 161 Ottawa Ave. NW Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
We are graciously accepting funds to pay for the production of the 169, 8x8" hearts on metal; the freestanding wall in which they will hang; as well as the travel expenses to make the haul. (Malia lives in Austin, Liz lives in Denver.) But ultimately, you're helping us grow our business and allow us to provide art and spiritual experiences to people who need them most.
Our gratitude for your contribution is endless…as our art heals so many and ever so gently, heals the planet. As a contributor, you'll receive one of our SoulTribe magnets of a heart found in nature and a handwritten thank-you from Malia and Liz, as well as up-to-date news and imagery of our adventure at ArtPrize, and a mention of your generosity in our SoulTribe quarterly newsletter.
From both of us, a BIG thank you for your consideration and support!
