Hello, I'm creating this in order to pay for my moms (Myrna) surgery. At the end of January of 2022 she went to the ER and found out that she had kidney stones and they needed to place a nephrostomy tube in each kidney in order to alleviate the urine that was being retained in her kidneys. The kidney stones had almost completely blocked the passage to the bladder. Unfortunately since placing the nephrostomy tubes, Myrna has battled many infections in her kidneys that have required hospitilazations and many medications. In October we learned that oral antibiotics are not enough for her and required daily doses of IV Antibiotics through a picc line. She was sent home with me as her caretaker. Since end of May, Methodist has provided care and assisted with a lot of the financial aspects. She now requires surgery to remove the stones and remove the nephrostomy tubes. While Methodist will be covering most of the cost of the surgery and cost related to the surgery, we are still required to pay a portion in order to get her surgery on November 11th to better her health.
