My mother, Myrna Leader Charge Trimble, lost her home, her belongings, and the lives of several beloved rescue cats, and her chihuahua, Tillie, in a house fire this morning, May 24, 2022. As people are reaching out to help, we want to start the visioning of process for my mom to build a new home on her land outside of Mission SD.
Please support my mom as she has supported many through prayer, spiritual guidance and assistance, and through modeling our Lakota ways of life in everyday life.
She regularly cares for approximately 30 neglected, abandoned, and abused animals, mostly cats, and they are among her primary concerns. She needs a home to provide a home for her family and for the animals she cares for out of the goodness of her heart. She loves animals and the loss of some of them today is beyond heartbreaking for her.
