Hi! My name is Myra and I am 12 years old and live in Navarre FL. My passion is beach volleyball! Along with beach volleyball, I am also a good student. I just finished 7th grade and maintained an A/B honor roll while being enrolled in advanced classes, along with being a member of our school's SLDC program (similar to JROTC). So I work hard at school and on the beach! I play in an adult league at Juana's Pagodas and have recently started playing in their high division to better my game!

This past May, despite a back injury, I was able to dig deep and win a bid to USAV Beach Nationals in the 12 Open division! Such a dream come true, especially after all the physical therapy appointments! So my sights were set on Ft Lauderdale FL. My how things can change in a week! My friend Roz Palmer just won a bid in 14U to AVP Nationals in Hermosa Beach CA! Her partner is unable to go so she has done me the enormous honor of asking me to be her partner!! HERMOSA BEACH CA!!! WHERE ALL THE PROS PLAY!!! This is such a dream come true and chance of a lifetime! One step closer to my dream of playing beach in college!!!

All this to say, please consider donating to my Myra Takes on CA fund! This money will be used for lodging, flights, and food. The tournament is July 7, 8, and 9.

My wonderful Dad can't make the trip so my Mom will be travelling with me. With your help, I'm ready to put Navarre on the map!!
