Myra Needs Your Help

It pains me to report that someone has attempted to end my fundraiser because they desire me to fail. This deeply saddens me because I have never hurt anyone and have helped so many During this painful journey, my family has received death threats, our photos along with our address and other information have been shared on social media for malicious intend to harm us, and my teenage daughter has been harassed but we have kept our faith in God and held our integrity.

I have been asked to provide my relationship to the people I am raising funds for, and a clear plan for how the funds will be used. I stated before that I am in need of help. I am raising funds for myself and your support will be used to assist me in paying off some of the debt incurred during this devastating experience so that I can afford to pay my household bills and feed my family. I have missed countless hours of work, and the increased stress has caused me health issues that required medical attention. I have always been a very generous giver and never ask for anything. God’s word says that no weapon formed against me shall prosper and that every tongue that rises against me in judgement, He shall condemn. I believe God’s Word and I also believe that I have His favor. With this being said, I ask you again to please continue to help me as I am in dire need of assistance.

On August 31, 2022 my life and my family’s lives were tragically turned upside down as we discovered that my son was in trouble. Our family was in shock, and for months the only details and knowledge of the incident were the partial truths being reported by the media, and the hateful, assuming comments and rumors of others found on social media and online. The information that was shared, set my son in a very unfavorable light. None of this made sense to any of us. My family and I finally had an opportunity during a recent court hearing to see and hear the video recording of the incident, which confirmed that the story in circulation wasn’t true. My son is known to have a big heart and he loves to help others. He especially has a soft spot in his heart for seniors, children, and those who are less fortunate than him. He’s always wanted to see everyone being treated fairly and strived to see that no one was in need. He’s loved by many and known for his bright smile and kind eyes. While watching the video of the incident, it was truly heartbreaking to see our loved one, who struggles with mental health issues, being aggressively pursued, threatened, and mentally and verbally abused by a complete stranger. Although this entire process has been an absolute nightmare, we have chosen to fight for him; however, this process has placed a significant financial burden on me and I desperately need your help.
