Myotubular trust and buddy bear trust

On saturday 24th may martin mallon will be taking part in a 140k cycle in connemara to raise much needed funds for the myotubular trust and buddy bear trust that gave given much needed support to his cousins wee boy pearse

Meet Pearse...

He is a 3 year old from Co. Tyrone living with a very rare genetic neuromuscular disorder known as X-Linked Myotubular Myopathy. This condition causes severe muscle weakness affecting his breathing , swallowing and movement. Most children born with XLMTM do not survive infancy. However, Pearse has battled many obstacles in his short lif. He was even sent home as end of life care and not expected to survive the ambulance journey home. But he did survive and has really thrived.

It is because of amazing charities and organisations that Pearse is currently leading his best life!

He and so many other children rely on these groups to reach their full potential. Every child deserves that chance.
