This year, I’ve set myself an ambitious goal: completing a triathlon every month to raise vital funds for Welsh Women’s Aid! Welsh Women’s Aid is an incredible organisation that supports women and families affected by domestic abuse, sexual violence, and gender inequality. Their work changes lives, offering safety, advocacy, and hope to those who need it most.
Originally, I was training to run the Cardiff Half Marathon to support this amazing cause. Unfortunately, a hip injury meant I couldn’t take part. But I didn’t want to let that setback stop me from raising funds for Welsh Women’s Aid, so I’ve decided to take on an even bigger challenge—completing a triathlon every month!
While I’ll be walking the running sections due to my injury, I’m determined to finish each race and make a difference for the women and families who rely on this vital organisation.
Your support will mean the world to me—and to those whose lives will be changed by Welsh Women’s Aid. Every donation, no matter how small, will help fund life-saving services, outreach programs, and campaigns to end violence against women.
Together, we can empower women and build a future free from abuse. Please donate and share to help me reach my goal—let’s make every mile matter!
Thank you for being part of this journey with me :)
I will finish this triathlon journey with a Concert on the 28th of April at St Catharines Church, Port Talbot singing with the Port Talbot Male Voice Choir and Matthew Budd.
