Massa needs your help

Donation protected
Massa was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma 18 months ago. She has been through numerous rounds of chemotherapy and hospitalizations. Despite being very ill, she still pursued her nursing degree and her part time job caring for disabled adults. This is where I met Massa. Some days she would come to work directly from being discharged from the hospital. She has a remarkable spirit and has remained so positive.

Two weeks ago she had three blood transfusions. And, unfortunately, her latest PET scan showed her cancer has spread aggressively. She now is wearing down and trying not to lose hope. She is preparing for a bone marrow transplant and is hospitalized for transplant chemotherapy 12 days per month. When she receives the transplant, she will need to be hospitalized at a minimum of one month and three month recovery time . She will not be able to work at all as she heals and regains her immune system.

Massa has experienced more than anyone's share of violence, war and tragedy. She is originally from Liberia and witnessed many murdered at the tender age of six. There she experienced the worst side of humankind. Now she deserves to see best side of humankind.

I hope you are able to pitch in to help Massa. I hope we can save Massa ' s apartment, help with medical bills and living expenses until she is able to work and go back to school again.
