My Mom's Cancer Fund

My name is Treasure. My brother and I want to help my mom get the treatment she very much needs. She is 57 and left the regular work force while my brother Devin and I were still in middle and high school in order to be there for us when we needed. For the past 8 years she has made her living by cleaning windows for local businesses and homeowners in the Lake Charles and surrounding areas. Over the last 2 years or so, in order to help other close family members with financial difficulties, she was forced to let her health insurance lapse because she can never seem to say no when people she loves need help. This didn't seem to be a huge deal due to the fact that she rarely even caught a cold, much less something much more serious. Unfortunately, on June 22, 2016, she was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and was informed that it has begun to metastasize to her liver. She can no longer swallow solid food and within the last 3 months she has gone from weighing 135 pounds to just 82 pounds. I have a 2 1/2 year old son named Andrew. He is her first grandson but since she has been losing weight, she can no longer lift him up due to the lack of strength. Not only has she lost body fat, but the majority of her muscle mass as well. This alone is beginning to impact her work and ability to make the money she needs in order to pay bills and buy the things she needs to make foods that she can eat and digest at least somewhat properly. This cancer is taking its toll on her fast, and something needs to be done ASAP. Please help us get her well, whether through prayer or means, you will forever have our gratitude.
