CHLA Dog Therapy Program

Hi, this is my Mitzvah Project, I'm raising money to help fund the Dog Therapy Program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.  I wanted to pick something that was very meaningful to me.  I feel so fortunate to be able to have a Bar Mitzvah when so many kids are fighting cancer.  I have sadly experienced what it feels like to watch a friend suffer through cancer treatments & I wanted to do something in his memory & for all the kids who are still fighting.  I still can't believe my friend Jonah did not make it, I will never fully understand it.  My hope is that other kids going through cancer treatments will have a bright spot to their day when they get their visit from a dog from the CHLA Dog Therapy Program.  These dogs stay with kids through long or uncomfortable treatments, help motivate a child during physical therapy, or just visit them to bring a smile to their face. The money I raise will go towards training & caring for these dogs.  Any donation is greatly appreciated,  no amount is too small.  Thank you & thank you for being part of my Bar Mitzvah.Brady
