Support my family in Gaza

Hi, my name is Ayman Ayyad.

I am a Palestinian Canadian. My parents are from Gaza and I have a large family living there including my 92 year old grandmother, my younger brother, uncles, aunties, and cousins.

As is the case with most immigrants, helping my family back home is a duty and a source of pride. In the past years, I have helped my family with emergencies, home construction, and business projects through both grants and loans.

Since the beginning of the war in October 2023, my family in Gaza has been devastated. They lost homes, places of work, source of income, and one of my cousins lost his life while helping extract his neighbours from under the rubble of their house.

The sudden and urgent financial support my family in Gaza needs is overwhelming. I never thought of asking for charity for my family before because there are poorer people with more urgent need. However, everyone in Gaza now is poor and hungry
