Howdy! I’m Mylon Joseph, a 2020 graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama. I’ve recently been blessed to be 1 of only 90 students accepted into the Midsummer in Oxford program at the British American Drama Academy (BADA), an intensive course in association with the Yale School of Drama.

During my time at BADA, I will have the opportunity to learn and focus on British acting techniques, with an emphasis on Shakespeare. I’ll be working alongside the faculty of leading British Theatre experts and faculty from top American graduate programs. As one can imagine, I’m extremely eager to broaden my horizons and finally travel across the pond, and become part of a network that helped cultivate artists whose work I look up to, such as Chadwick Boseman & Aja Naomi King.

While I have been graciously awarded a scholarship from BADA, it only covers part of my expenses, unfortunately; I am still in need of financial assistance to help cover my remaining tuition balance and accommodation fees. With your help, I would be able to train with highly credible and esteemed actors (Masterclass instructors have included Sir Patrick Stewart, Fiona Shaw and Brian Cox, to name a few), build long-lasting creative relationships with other artists alike, and continue to hone my craft.

This is an extremely rare opportunity, and I thank you in advance, for being a big part of this next step in my journey. The cost breakdown for the program is as follows:

Tuition: $4,300 USD (Due June 5, 2023)

Accommodation: $3,250 USD (Due June 5, 2023)

-Scholarship: $3,150

Airfare: $600 USD

Total Fees: $5,000
