Please Help Us Support Mylo

This is Mylo, my nephew, he belongs to my sister and her partner. He’s an adorable, sweet, kind Havanese with an incredible heart and the most precious love for football. We are not sure who his favorite team is, but you can bet he’ll be cheering when there’s a touchdown. But recently, Mylo isn’t as cheerful. Mylo had a very healthy life, but just days after his third birthday his health took a turn for the worst.

Mylo has been at an animal hospital in the ICU unit since Monday, April 1st and continues to be there. He’s suffering from pancreatitis, liver failure and secondary Cholangiohepatitis. Doctors haven’t been able to determine how he could’ve gotten this sick in just a two week span but they continue to monitor him and medicate him as best they can. Mylo is currently attached to an IV and a gastro feeding tube because he doesn’t want to eat and is very sad. He also has a catheter. He requires on going treatments to avoid additional organ failures and 24 hour care.

At this point, the bills keep going up and will continue to do so until he gets better. His mommies have currently spent close to $11,000 for his care without knowing how much more it is going to be. It is very heartbreaking to see my family so distraught about their doggie’s health while also stressing about a growing hospital bill. I am asking for any support during this time. Every little bit helps and no amount is too small. If we can at least relieve Mylo's mommies of the financial burden, they can just focus on being there for him with all the love and hope they have in their hearts. Anything will help them enormously.
