Myles, at age 9, was diagnosis with Osteosarcoma on Nov. 5th 2020. On September 2nd 2021, he rang the bell when he beat Osteosarcoma. After almost a year off treatment and only 8 days after his 11th birthday on August 16th 2022, he was diagnosed with AML (myeloid leukemia).

This came as a huge shock to the family. We were just getting back into the groove of getting our lives back on track with work, school, and everyday normalcy.

Now we are having to learn information on a whole new kind of cancer and the treatment that comes with it. Mom (Jackie) and Dad (Jeff) are taking turns staying with Myles at the hospital and staying at home with the three other kids (Monty (12), Marshall (10), and Jemma (3).) Which makes holding a normal job near impossible.

No child deserves to have cancer and go thru this horrible thing in life! So for Myles to have to do it twice is horrible. Not only do we have to rid his body of AML now and make sure it stays gone but we also have to keep monitoring him to make sure his first cancer (Osteo) doesn't return! He is such a kind, loving, and thoughtful boy saying he wants to become an pediatric oncology nurse so he can tell the kids his story and be an example to not give up.

This go fund me is being started to help with bills since Mom and Dad aren't going to be able to work. It is going to help with gas from the back and fourths to the hospital. It will be there to help the family with any other unexpected costs that may come about in this unplanned horrible time for them. When dealing with something like this, where you are watching your young child in pain or going thru something this rough, you shouldn't be having to worry about how to make it financially.
