Last year, after a trip to Haiti, I helped fundraise for the nonprofit Help One Now.  Seeing people come together for a good cause inspired me to find a way to keep supporting nonprofits. But I didn't want to do it alone. I wanted to build something that got others involved. Towards the end of 2018, the idea of Myles and Shaw was born, bringing the dream of owning my own store together with giving back. At Myles and Shaw, a percentage of each every purchase will be given to the nonprofits Help One Now and The Green Chair Project, but there are plans to expand to support other nonprofits and special causes as the business grows. 

This is where you come into the story. I know the impact of a group of people is heavier than the one I can make alone, so I'm asking you to join me in this community. The purpose of this GoFundMe is to get the Myles and Shaw boutique off the ground. To get inventory online, into the homes of our own friends and families and to begin the relationship with some amazing nonprofits that are doing impactful work here in the states and across the world. 

So how can you be part of this? First, by sharing this campaign and telling everyone you know and second, by looking through the rewards listed below and donating! I will be posting some photos as well, as they are samples of items that will be for sale once we open in late July!

This reward level gets you a $500 gift card to spend when Myles and Shaw opens at the end of July PLUS an invite to the "be-the-buyer" roundtable dinner! We'll get together at the end of summer, go through catalogs and you'll get to pick out items you would like to see sold at Myles + Shaw! Once your picks arrive, you'll get 50% one item!
