Help Myles get to Uganda!

Hello,

I have some exciting news!

After much prayer, I have decided to go to Uganda on a Mission's Trip!

I will be going on MARCH 8 - 22, 2023 with CrossRoads Church.

As you may or may not know, I was almost killed in a home invasion on August 2, 2021.

Since then, my life has fallen apart. My relationship with my partner of 13 years ended a

couple months later and the Builder I was working with ended 7 months ago. During this time, I have been in counselling for PTSD, and have been battling major depression.

On October 9, 2022 I accepted God into my life and was baptized on November 9, 2022 at the CrossRoads Church. I have decided to serve God by going on this Mission Trip to Uganda and hopefully sponsoring a child.

This trip will be an opportunity to serve alongside our partner, International Needs

Uganda, as they minister to people in the town of Buikwe. Our team will come alongside International Needs Uganda as they serve to alleviate spiritual and material poverty through their many programs. It will be an interesting journey that will be filled with God experiences and warm people.

International Needs Uganda operates three schools in the Buikwe district, and

CrossRoads Church has partnered with International Needs Uganda to help financially to construct buildings for the school campus including a science laboratory, a girls'

dormitory, a boys' dormitory, and the new Teachers' dormitory. Our Missions Team will

support the educational programs, which involves spending significant time with the youth that are attending school by participating in campus activities and supporting the school staff.

Other opportunities will involve learning about and participating in the International Needs Uganda Child Sponsorship Program. CrossRoads Church has partnered with the Child Sponsorship Program since 2008 and the Mission Team's presence will strengthen the long-term relationship our church has with International Needs Uganda and the community of Buikwe. We pray we will be a blessing to those we meet!
