Our dear friend Jayme and her husband Brian have suffered a loss no parent should have to endure.  On Tuesday, July 31st their 9 month old daughter Mylee stopped breathing in her sleep at day care, causing her brain to be deprived of oxygen. Sadly, on August 2nd at noon medical staff conducted a brain activity test and the results were consistent with brain death. They made the most difficult decision one could ever face and withdrew her care last night, August 2nd at 8:30 pm. At 9:52pm Mylee passed away in her mother Jayme's arms.

Jayme has had to climb mountains with the difficulties she has faced in life over the past few years and not once did she ever say "why me" or complain that life was unfair. She was so incredibly excited to become a mom, and she cherished every minute of it. Mylee was her world. Jayme is one of the most kind, compassionate people in the world. She would do anything for her family and friends so we want to do the same for her.

We are hoping to raise funds to help with the cost of funeral expenses, with anything left over going to the medical bills they will be getting in the future. 

Please help in any way you can. If you can't donate money, in the spirit of Mylee do something good for another person. Do a random act of kindness, pet a dog, buy coffee for a stranger. If you are not yet registered, become an organ donor like Mylee was.
