Mylah Tate Temple
Donation protected
On Friday, August 18, 2023, the doctors had no choice but to deliver Mylah Tate at 29 weeks old due to preeclampsia and to save the life of Myesa Temple. Myesa and Logan Temple have been out of work due to major complications of her pregnancy and Myesa has been hospitalized continuously weeks prior to having to give birth. Mylah Temple was born at 2 lbs 9 oz and has had some major complications since entering the world. As her lungs are not fully developed, she currently has a collapsed lung and is being placed on a ventilator. To make matters worse, on Sunday, August 20, they found that Ms. Mylah has an infection in her intestines and has to be transported to Children’s Hospital to undergo surgery and extensive care. She currently has a tube in her belly to try and get out as much of the infection that she can. Because Myesa and Logan live within St. Louis, they are unable to be housed at Ronald McDonald House, and do not qualify for stays. If they wanted to stay close to the hospital, they will have to spend 190 dollars a night at a nearby housing facility. Currently Myesa and Logan are staying at a hotel that is about 120 dollars a night. Their home is about 45 minutes from Children’s Hospital and the commute would be terrible at this time due to the unknown of Mylah Tate being able to make it. Although Myesa was not fully recovered, she got permission to be released from the hospital to be with her daughter. She is trying to manage taking care of her aftercare with having a c-section and trying to pump for Mylah all while doing so in a hotel. Logan is currently not receiving income as he has exhausted all of his leave at work, and Myesa is only receiving 40% of her income at this time due to being on short term disability. The every day costs of this family having to do what they need for their daughter has exhausted them almost entirely. The family has asked for a go fund me to be created in order to help with the expenses of what they are going through at this time. Mylah has a long journey to go and this family could use your support. This is a family that is beyond deserving of everything they are giving. They are a family that will drop everything to help others. It’s their turn to be loved on and helped in this emotional and exhausting process. They are thankful to everyone for the support and love they have received and will forever be grateful for your support.
