Myla Beau Lock Story

It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I announce that Beautiful Myla has sadly passed after a 2-year battle with cancer at the young age of 9 years old.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Myla will know she was the most courageous,

strong, sassy, funny, and outright amazing girl!

Myla was diagnosed with a metastatic Wilms tumour in October 2022 at the young age of 7, her treatment was extensive, involving surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy despite all of this she remained strong and brave.

Myla and her family have never asked or burdened anyone with their struggles throughout everything they have been going through and still haven’t.

I am reaching out to share the heartfelt story of Myla and her family, who are navigating a challenging time. Myla, who was full of life and excitement about her family's upcoming move, unfortunately, passed away before she could see it through. Her family is determined to honour her wishes by continuing with the move, despite the emotional toll this period has taken on them.

In light of this, my self and Arran very close friends, are seeking to alleviate some of the burdens they are facing. Myla's family has always been self-reliant and has never asked for help, but in this devastating moment, we believe that a little support could make a significant difference. Our goal is to provide Myla with the send-off she truly deserves, allowing her family to focus on cherishing her memory without the added pressures.

any funds remaining from her funeral will be directed towards vital charities such as Young Lives vs Cancer and the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust. These organizations are dedicated to supporting children and families affected by cancer, a cause close to our hearts.

Your contribution will not only support these important charities but will also help us create a memorable tribute for Myla. We aim to give her a beautiful farewell, reflecting the love and joy she brought into our lives.
