On October 25, 2025, our hearts were forever changed as we said goodbye to our beloved Derrick L. Baskin Jr., a son, brother, and friend whose laughter could brighten any room and whose spirit left a lasting mark on everyone he met.

Derrick courageously battled cancer, showing remarkable strength, faith, and resilience throughout his journey. His joyful personality, kindness, and unforgettable smile brought comfort and light to so many. He had an incredible way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved. As a brother, he was loyal and playful. As a son, he was deeply caring, the kind of person whose energy made ordinary moments special.

Now, as his parents Denita Adams and Derrick Baskin Sr. face this unimaginable loss, we are reaching out to family, friends, and all those touched by Derrick’s life to help ease the financial burdens that come with funeral arrangements and unexpected expenses.
