Will You Help Me Help Others?

I believe everyone has a purpose in life, something that makes them feel whole. Most people will spend their whole lives searching for whatever that is. I don't know how I got lucky enough to have already found mine. I've always wanted to make a difference in the world, I just never knew how to do it. I know now how I want to do this, but I cannot accomplish it alone; this is why I am asking for your help.
Earlier this year, I was fortunate enough to go on a trip to Israel through Birthright (A wonderful organization that provides young Jewish adults the opportunity to reconnect or strengthen their connection with their heritage) I was introduced to a program called Tikkun Olam, that allows me to intern with a nonprofit without a college education. After returning to the states, I applied and was accepted into that program! I will be living in Tel Aviv/Jaffa while learning how to work in a nonprofit enviroment and write grants. The organization I have chosen to intern with works to help the young LGBTQ youth of Israel.
Not many people don't know this, but it was this year that I came out as gay. The feeling I got after finally being able to be myself is far too powerful to describe in words. I want to do everything I can to help others experience the same feeling. No one deserves to not be accepted for who they are. I am so excited to have the opportunity to help those who have or are struggling with the same battle I fought for years. Since I have come out, I have had nothing but love and support from my friends and family and have even found someone that I care deeply about. I want to be this support and love for others who may not be as fortunate as I am.
I know that I can make a difference, but I cannot do this alone. This is where I ask for your help. My tuition for this program is $7500 and this does not include food, toiletries, and airfare to and from Israel. Any contributions are deeply appreciated and I will be forever grateful for your help and support. I ask you kindly to please help me help the world.
Thank You and Much Love,
Sara
