But when he gets a clinic bath, he just wants to cuddle.
As of MARCH 28, 2018:
With your help, he was able to recovery (almost fully). By giving him 3 medications twice a day and IV fluids. He even had the majority of his teeth taken out. As of now his FIV and Diabetes is controlled but now he has an unknown skin disease that is holding him back from a possible full recovery. His hair is trying to grow back but he keeps plucking his hair, causing scabs, and possibly has a mixture of blood and something else all over him. I do say possible recovery because his attitude, energy, appetite, thirst, and purring had gone back to normal. He still remains the sweetest cat I’ll ever know. Please help me one last time before possibly considering euthanasia if no one wants to see him at an affordable cost. Also last year in September, I lost my first dog I’d ever had. So between my first childhood dog passing away and my beloved cat almost passing, this has been mentally and physically draining. Reason I need your help again, is because I have to go to UCDAVIS possibly for this problem and unfortunately, I cannot afford it at all. His current care is already a big load on me. I personally know how he is feeling. I developed a muscle/skin/joint disease in 2001 that took UCSF and Stanford University together to figure out. So please if you can donate anything or share like crazy, Jason and I would appreciate it. ❤️
On September 2, 2017, I had to take my 9year old sweet and loving cat Jason to the Solano Pet Emergency. I was told that he is now diabetic and was severely dehydrated. He's currently trying to eat and drink, but I know he's a fighter. He's is like me. If you know me, you know that I am disabled (with my post-liver transplant life and dermatomyositis combination). Therefore, I can't work full time and barely can handle part-time. If I was normal, I would work so hard. But my body physically can't, no matter what I do, its permanent. I really do not like asking for help but I can't do this alone. Please help with whatever you can. This cat has been with me through a lot of depression and awful experiences. He's been my baby for 9years and I want him to be in my life for as long as he can, I need him. His treatment wont be easy but I am asking for help for his current status and continue him on the right path. Please share.
