I'm Beverly Jensen, a Pilates instructor and physical therapist by profession, and an amateur fencer. Lately, my health has taken a turn for the worse. In February of this year, I ended up in the hospital for a week with pneumonia. As if that wasn't enough, in the beginning of April, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was advised to have an immediate double mastectomy to save my life.

As hard as I work, I can't make money while I recover from surgery. Add to that the extra expenses of hospitalization and medical care, it places me in enormous financial difficulties. I'm self supporting, and although friends and relatives are generous with their time and money, I'm in need of financial help. The goal of this campaign is to buy me enough time for me to heal, so I can get back on my feet with both my health and finances!
