You’ll never know or understand someone’s struggles until you live it.
Everyone has their own down falls.. but what happens if you fall alone?.....
Even though I’ve recently met Sam it seems like a life time. Sam is quietly going through such great pain and his story has touched me. I thought to myself I need to help! I felt God touch my soul. I felt him speak to me telling me that I have to be his voice.
I have gathered a few co-workers and we have all united to help… Our Friend Sam….
Sam is such a helpful and loving guy. He will literally take the shirt of his back for anyone. About six months ago Sam’s life made a drastic change his mother was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer. 21 years old and now having to take care of his mother with no help. She has lost a breast, medication not working, and chemo has begun. He only has enough money for bills, food and if he has anything left over he tries to save up to purchase a car… which seems out of reach for him. With no car and working minimum wage the easiest tasks are a struggle. He never asks for help and will always show gratitude when he is helped. He wakes up every morning at 4am to catch a ride to work. He’ll catch up on some sleep until his shift starts at 6:30am. After work he goes home to tend to his mother. Since he is scared of losing his mother he has focused on work and caring for her. He doesn’t go out and spends all his time with his mother.
He doesn’t know it yet…. But God has sent help! He has put us in his path for a reason… we are here to help.... OUR FRIEND SAM <3
We will do what it takes and even the little things others do will make a huge impact.
A few workers here at Haliburton Int. have come together to help Sam raise money for a car… even if it’s nothing fancy it’s a huge help. He will have transportation for work and for his mother’s doctors appts.
If you’d like to help please go to his go fund me. Like & share, any amount is greatly appreciated. A taco night will be set up to raise funds for a vehicle
Updates will be made as we go and once we reach our goal we will surprise Sam.
