lost everything to Harvey

This photo is our entryway. We were in a kayak backed into our front door. After 5 days we still have 4 feet of water in our house. This "go fund me" is in response to many friends that have expressed an interest in helping. This is the easiest way to help. We have many offers of physical help but we can't begin until the water recedes. Since we have no flood insurance we have lost everything except what we waded out with, twice. Stopped at one house we thought would be dry and had to evacuate with water in that house at 3am. Our dogs had to swim out.  With the house being under water for so long I have no idea what of the structure we will be able to salvage.  Thank you to all of our friends for your offers of help.
