MONROE YOUTH FOOTBALL FAMILIES AND THE MONROE COMMUNITY!! One of our families needs us -- let's show them what the Bearcat family is all about! We always strive to teach our players the importance of family and taking care of one another! Now is the time to step up and show them how it's done!
URGENT NEED:
Our Monroe Bearcat family needs $2550 to move into their apartment. The organization they were working with for first and last month deposit is not coning through and their apartment will be released today, if they cannot get the funds. Can anyone help by donating funds? Please see info below:
Please meet this beautiful family that is in need of urgent help. After living in a low cost rental home for many years, they were given 30 days to move. They found a place and last minute, the apartment was found to have black mold causing them to be displaced and are currently in a hotel. The issue is that while they are still in a hotel, they are actively looking for another home and their funds are depleted. They are looking into all possible resources and meanwhile trying to give their 3 boys (15, 14 and 13) stability. The father is on disability as he is suffering from spinal cancer and recently had surgery, while still needing another one, but cannot do it until he gets into a home and knows that his living situation is stable. We are looking for donations to keep them indoors at the Best Western in Monroe. They are also in need of meals, groceries and basic needs. You can call them directly to donate nights (DM us for name and room number). We are also looking for any possible resources that may help them get back on their feet and into a stable living environment!!
