My name is Michael Fearon. I'm running a charity table quiz in the Bridge Bar on 4th March in aid of a new support group - Myeloma Forward - that we have just set up.

Multiple myeloma is the third most common blood cancer with almost 1,000 diagnosed patients in Northern Ireland, one of whom is my wife Siobhán.

The aim of Myeloma Forward is to offer support to patients and their carers in dealing with this chronic, treatable but incurable disease.

I hope to see many old, and hopefully some new, faces turning out to have some fun and to help us raise awareness of this condition.
