My name is Mychal Vonlagrave.

I am doing this fundraiser because I find myself in need of financial help.

Through extensive testing, I was diagnosed in October 2023 when I was 52 years old with Autism, Bipolar 1, ADHD Combined type, Complex PTSD, and DDD (Depersonalization/Derealization Disorder). I was deemed by multiple doctors and therapists mentally disabled. My long journey began the day of diagnosis with intense therapy twice a week by two different therapists and support groups to relearn how to function daily in its simplest form. I continue to this day on this path.

I do have a disability attorney, and I have a hearing scheduled with SSDI in August.

I have been living on my savings, but that has since run dry. I have sold many personal belongings to have money to pay my most basic bills: rent, phone, and insurance, but I don't have anything else to sell.

I am embarrassed to ask complete strangers for financial support, but at this point, I am 2 months behind on all my previously mentioned living expenses. This is devastating to me because I have never been without income, nor have I ever asked anyone for financial help before.
