Update! 

Marleigh it’s still on oxygen and they gave her another 10 days of steroids due to her still struggling to breathe. The next week we will have a swallow study and a few appointments to figure out why she is aspirating and how we can help her. Her last x-ray showed that she has been aspirating so i’m really hoping we can get some answers soon!

Update!

Marleigh currently has Covid and is back on oxygen and is on steroids to help her lungs. We are hoping this does not have too big of an effect on her progress.

We have been readmitted into the children’s hospital on February 8th. Hopefully our sweet girl recovers quickly! 

Hi, my name is Samy. On June 2nd I was admitted to the hospital due to my water breaking 19 weeks early. On June 15th I was transferred to a high risk hospital for the rest of my pregnancy. June 18th I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Marleigh at 23 weeks and 3 days. She weighed 1 pound 4 ounces. She was on a ventilator and had a Grade 1 bilateral brain bleed, pulmonary hypertension, 2 heart defects VSD and PDA and she is fighting hard everyday. Due to me being in the hospital our financial situation is not well. We have been traveling over an hour daily for the past 5 months and we have many more months to come. Any donations we receive will be used for covering bills at home, gas, food, hotels and medical bills! Since November 23rd we have been discharged from the hospital. Marleigh came home on oxygen and a feeding tube.
