MYBS Field and Park Improvements

Hello MYBS families and fans,

 

We hope your new year is off to a great start. As you know, we are always looking for ways to improve the baseball and softball playing experience for our kids and the fan experience for people like you. To that end, we have two exciting projects on deck for this year:

·       Regrade, fix, and fill in the softball infields at Wheelock, improving the quality, safety, and playing experience for our kids.
·       Replace the 70-year old bleachers at Metacomet. While these bleachers have a lot of character and Medfield baseball history, they are unsafe. As you've probably experienced, there are no handrails and the old wood is in desperate need of repair. We are extremely fortunate to have a very generous private donation of $15K to start the bleacher project, but it’s going to cost more to complete.

 

We've set up a this page to support these two important projects. Any additional funds beyond what we need for these projects will be put toward future projects aimed at improving our player and fan experiences. Medfield Youth Baseball and Softball is a 501c3 non-profit (Tax ID: 04-3078229), so your donations are tax deductible. And don’t forget to use your company matching program, too!
