The Pineda Family Medical Fund

I'm not sure how this works but ....

Anyone who knows me, knows that it is not easy for me to ask for help. However this is one of those times where I feel the need to ask..

My Father Jose R. Pineda has been suffering from liver failure, and without a transplant he would ultimately suffer an agonizing death.

Thankfully my brother (who is also MY HERO) Jose M. Pineda is a perfect match to become a living donor. Later this month, April 25th 2016 both he and my father are scheduled to undergo the transplant surgery at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington MA. Even though the surgery is covered by his health insurance both my father & brother are going to require a lot of financial assistance to help with their travel expenses, as well as their day to day needs during the recovery process.

In addition to this, some of my brother's amazing friends from the Providence Police department have organized a cookout/fundraiser at the Providence F.O.P. on April 23rd @ 1:30pm. Tix for this event are available to anyone who would like to come. Kids are welcome. If you would like to attend please call me or you can private message through FB. Tickets cannot be purchased through this site. I hope to see you there.
