Kyle's Surgery is tomorrow, November 20, 2023!

Dear friends and supporters,
I wanted to provide you with an update on Kyle's journey in his battle against non-seminoma testicular cancer. Kyle and Morgan are currently in Houston, where Kyle will undergo and very intensive surgery tomorrow! Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers! Morgan will need to be off work for at least (2) weeks, and it is yet undetermined as to when Kyle will be able to return to work. Anything towards helping them with their current household budget or their travel expenses while in Houston for at least the next week, would be greatly appreciated.

Since his diagnosis in April, Kyle has faced numerous challenges and setbacks, but his determination and resilience have never wavered, and neither did his good nature and smile.

After undergoing an initial surgery to address the cancer, it was disheartening to learn that it had spread to his abdominal lymph nodes. This is a common occurrence in cases like Kyle's. Following his doctor's recommendation, Kyle embarked on a grueling journey of four cycles of intense chemotherapy. Each cycle lasted for five days, with six to eight hours of treatment per day. This arduous process spanned over 12 weeks, and Kyle completed his final round of chemo at the beginning of September, hopeful that it had eradicated the cancer.

Unfortunately, a recent scan revealed that the chemotherapy was not successful in eliminating the cancer. As a result, Kyle's doctor has referred him to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas for a specialized surgery called a retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. This complex procedure involves the removal of the majority of Kyle's abdominal lymph nodes, with the hope of eradicating the cancer once and for all. It is a lengthy, intense, and major surgery, and the biopsy results will determine whether further chemotherapy will be necessary.

During this challenging time, Kyle and Morgan will need to travel to Houston, the week of October 23rd for testing and scans, and then again in November for the surgery itself. They will require hotel accommodations for at least two weeks during this period. As neither of them will be able to work during this time, any donations to help cover the costs would be immensely appreciated.

Your support and generosity have already made a significant impact on Kyle's journey, and we are incredibly grateful for that. If you are able to contribute to this Go Fund Me campaign, it would provide much-needed financial relief and allow Kyle and Morgan to focus on his recovery without the added burden of worrying about expenses.

Thank you for standing by Kyle and Morgan’s sides throughout this challenging journey. Your love, prayers, and contributions mean the world to them!
