In July of 2013, Jevon Elliott had just turned 19 and was hit by a car while crossing the street on his way home. As a result of the accident, he suffered from several fractures, brain injury and lost his left leg from the knee down. He has had a temporary prosthetic for over a year but he now needs a permanent one to help prevent further injury. Unfortunately, at the moment we cannot afford what Jevon desperately needs.
