Hi guys, our names are Alex and George. We both met in military training, but after unforeseen medical circumstances we had to leave a few years ago.

Over the next few months we are going to be taking on a number of challenges to raise money for Myaware, a charity close to our hearts as they have done amazing work with Alex's sister Lydia.

Initially we will be completing a marathon, followed by an 18-hour ultra marathon and culminating in a 173km run, from Dublin to Belfast around April next year.

Myaware is a leading charity dedicated to supporting individuals living with myasthenia gravis (MG), a rare autoimmune condition that causes muscle weakness and fatigue. This debilitating condition can make everyday tasks, like walking, talking, and even breathing, extremely difficult for those affected.

Through your generous donations, myaware provides essential services, including emotional support, education, and funding for research aimed at finding better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Every contribution helps provide hope and improve the quality of life for those living with MG and their families.
