Mya’s Missions Trip

Hi everyone! My budding teenager has been presented with a life-changing opportunity. The youth leaders and a group of teens from our church will be traveling to Honduras this summer, and Mya is eager to participate. 

A little info about the trip:

• They will be traveling to San Pedro Sula, Honduras to serve at an orphanage called Hope House.

• The  mission trip will also include serving in the island of Roatan, Honduras at two schools and a health clinic that provides help to the entire island.

• The students will assist in meeting the needs of young children by presenting the love of Jesus through dramas, songs, feeding and engaging them through much needed relationship building, among other projects.

I’m prayerfully supporting this trip, knowing the impact it will have on the youth’s lives as well as the people they encounter. I’m excited for Mya to experience the heart of Jesus in this unique way, and to learn what it means to truly serve others.
