Mya's Celebration of Life

As most of you know our family has lost one of our brightest lights. This is account is to help with the cost of funeral and memorial services, as well as help with the costs of some things Mya wanted for us, because even in her final days, she thought of us. Mya fought her battle for 6 years. During that time she managed to encourage others, stayed strong in her faith and always chose to see the good things in life, and others even when they didn't deserve it. When we would fall to our knees and cry, SHE was the one picking US up off the ground. Mya was always strong, brave, kind, compassionate, goofy, an all around amazing human being. Mya knew how to make you laugh, she was quirky, and we all loved her for it. You knew when she walked in a room because it brought the room to life. She loves her family more than anything and her favorite thing was just to be with each other, playing board games, slip n' sliding with her nieces and nephew, and spreading joy and love to all those around her. She is walking with her little peanut in heaven, and we know she will watch us from above l, laugh with us and cry with us. And as we mourn over the loss of her beautiful soul, she will yell at us from above for ugly crying. Her spirit will live with us in every silly thing we see, in each and every flower we pass by, in every single dinosaur we see, in each other as we gather in love. She left a mark on each person she has encountered in her short time here. That has been made evident in the text and calls we have received. The last thing we would like to say is THANK YOU MYA. Thank you for teaching us how to be kind when no one else will, to be your goofy self regardless who is watching, to be brave when your scared as hell, and to live your life to the absolute fullest because life is too short. Thank you for making all of us the closest we have ever been. Thank you for loving the kids who are a little different, just as they should be! Thank you for making us feel beautiful on our ugliest days. Thank you for being you.
