Mya’s Burklyn Ballet Dream!

Hello Everyone,

I am Mya’s very lucky Mom. Mya has always dreamed of becoming a Professional Dancer and Ballerina, I can honestly say she has been dancing since in my belly. Mya has been dancing for over 10 Years and started at a local studio and then moved on to Studio East Dance Company where she currently dances. Her two ballet teacher at SEDC gave her not just better technique, but challenged her to find her love of Ballet. Mr. Youri Spindler saw something in Mya and taught her a variation after working with her for over a year. He then submitted it to Burklyn Ballet Theater. Burklyn reviewed it and found her to be a good candidate and “the type of dancer we would love to work with. She is a lovely dancer and seems like a lovely person”. We were floored!

Burklyn Ballet has accepted Mya to their Intensive 2 Week Program in Vermont. It is a true dream for her to dance with a Ballet Company. She will be taking lessons as well as performing in new dances at the end of each week, honing her Pointe skills as well.

I am asking for your kindness and help. It is really hard for me to ask for this as I can’t afford the cost of Tuition for the intensive. I am asking for this help to make this possible for Mya, if you could consider donating anything to help make this come true it would be deeply appreciated by Mya, Lev and I. Mya is a straight A student who dances over 10 hours a week 5 days a week and teacher assist at the studio as well. She will not take this opportunity for granted. She is a hard worker, humble, kind, smart and a friend to all.
