My name is Moh Lwin, and I am originally from Myanmar. I am raising funds to support the people of my homeland who have been devastated by the recent earthquake. The funds will go directly towards providing essential aid to survivors, including rescue teams/equipments, medicine, food and water.
On 28th of March , Myanmar, my homeland was hit by a strong earthquake, measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale. Over 3,000 people have died, and many more are injured or missing. Thousands of families are left homeless, and vital infrastructure has been destroyed. Many people are still trapped under the rubble, and rescue efforts are ongoing. However, a lack of proper equipment is making it difficult to save lives.
To make matters worse, there is no power, and people are forced to live on the streets under extreme conditions, with temperatures soaring to 40°C. Families are enduring unimaginable hardships without shelter, electricity, or basic necessities.
The stories emerging from the devastation are heartbreaking. Some survivors are the only ones left in their families, with entire households lost. Mothers have lost their infants, children have been separated from their parents, and families are grieving unimaginable losses.
Your support will be very much appreciated no matter how big or small and will bring relief to those suffering.
