Myanmar Earthquake Relief - Rebuild Hope, Save Lives

Donation protected
My name is Dr. Hnin Wai Lwin Myo, a former Physician and Assistant Director at the Ministry of Health in Myanmar, now serving as a public health researcher, advocate, and founder of the Myanmar Multiethnic Sociocultural Association (MMSA)—a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the United States. With years of experience in clinical care, public health, health systems management, and community outreach, I’ve dedicated my life to serving the people of Myanmar, both at home and abroad. After relocating to the U.S., I continued this mission through MMSA, an organization committed to promoting unity across Myanmar’s diverse ethnic groups while providing humanitarian support, cultural preservation, and public health advocacy. Now, one of the most catastrophic earthquakes has struck Myanmar, leaving devastation on a scale our country has never seen.
"Over 5,000 deaths have been confirmed, with thousands more missing or trapped under rubble"
"More than 2 million people—over 3% of the country’s population—have been directly affected, with widespread displacement and infrastructure collapse."
"Beloved UNESCO heritage sites and centuries-old religious monuments in Bagan, Mandalay, and Shan State have been reduced to rubble, erasing pieces of our cultural identity in seconds."
In many rural areas, entire villages no longer exist.
The country’s already fragile healthcare system has collapsed under pressure.
People are dying not just from the earthquake but from injuries, hunger, dehydration, and lack of medical care. Children are orphaned. Communities are in mourning.
We call on all kind-hearted people to stand with us in this immense need.
Your donations will provide:
  • Emergency food, clean water, and hygiene kits
  • Temporary shelters and warm clothing
  • Mobile medical units and trauma care
  • Support for displaced families, children, and elders
  • Restoration of cultural and community sites where possible
This is an urgent humanitarian crisis. We cannot look away.
Let us come together in solidarity for Myanmar—for its people, its children, and its heritage.

All donations will go directly toward emergency relief and recovery efforts for the victims of the recent earthquake in Myanmar, with a focus on delivering support directly to end-user recipients through trusted local partners. Our plan ensures that funds will benefit the people most in need—especially children, elders, displaced families, and people with disabilities.
