Myanmar Earthquake Relief: A Nation in Crisis Needs Help
Donation protected

I am Daewi, a Myanmar citizen from Mandalay, raising emergency funds for victims of the devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck my country on March 28, 2025. The hardest-hit areas include my hometown and surrounding citiess, where over 4,335 people have died, 200 remain missing.
This earthquake is yet another blow to our resilient communities already suffering through years of hardship – COVID (2020), military coup (2021), ongoing violence, floods (2024), and now this catastrophe.
Your donation will provide immediate:
- Emergency medical supplies for hospitals in Mandalay treating the injured
- Food and clean water packages for displaced families in temporary shelters
- Equipment for local volunteer rescue teams digging through rubble
- Temporary shelter materials including tarps, tents, and blankets
- Support for local organizations coordinating relief efforts
I am working directly with Thant Zin Maung (friend of mine who will personally recuse in the affected area), Thae Wutyi Soe, a trusted local who will manage fund and work closely with local rescue team in Sagaing. I will personally oversee that 100% of funds (minus GoFundMe fees) reach those most affected through weekly distributions to hospitals, rescue teams, and shelter coordinators.
Please donate and share widely. Every contribution helps my community and fellow citizens who have lost everything in seconds.
