Myah's Mobility

Myah has always been a service/therapy dog. She has been by my side for the past 13 years going to convalescent homes once a week. We would hold church services together at the homes and everyone got to know Myah very well.  

5 years ago Myah was hit by a car chasing a squirrel in the park. Her hip surgery lasted for about 3 years, but she has really begun to deteriorate over the past year. Myah is no longer able to walk or move around during normal day to day activities and drags her hind legs.  She is however able to use her legs in the water, so I spend time every day at the river working with her.  She still has some strength in both legs.  

My desire for Myah is to be able to purchase an OTC harness for her.  This will enable each leg to stay in alignment as she walks.  Activities in the water strengthen her legs in preparation for movement in the harness.
